SOMETIMES SOLLUX SEES MITUNA TRYING TO USE HIS PSIIONIIC POWERS BUT THEY DON’T FUCKING WORK BECAUSE HE BURNED THEM OUT AND MITUNA GETS SO FRUSTRATED SO SOLLUX USES HIS OWN PSIIONIIC POWERS TO MAKE IT LOOK MITUNA HAS THEM TOO AND HE LOOKS AT HIM AND SOLLUX JUST SMILES AND MITUNA IS KINDA HAPPY THAT EVNE JUST FOR A MOMENT HE CAN PRETEND HE HAS HIS FUCKING POWERS BACK

I don’t know if it’s finished like this, probably not. The idea has been haunting me (hah) for months, though, time to let it out.
I have a habit of pronouncing all the troll names EXTREMELY German. I was asked to describe how exactly.
Please don’t assume that this is how all Germans pronounce troll names, cuz I actually think I’m the only person retarded enough to do this. Also, I’m being inconsistent. Please don’t judge me 8DD

Rule of thumb: usually, in German all “a”s are pronounced very openly, like the “a” in “star”, “far”, “car” and so on.
Aradia Megido: Ah RAH dee ah - MEH gee doh /a·’rɑ·dɪ·a ‘mə·gɪ·dɔ/
(we don’t pronounce “g” like “j”. In German, “g” is always pronounced like the “g” in “green” or “gauntlet”)
Tavros Nitram: TAV ross - NEE tramm /’tav·rɔs ‘ni·tram/
Sollux Captor: SOLL luks - KAP toah /’zɔl·ʊks ‘kap·toɐ/
(looks stupid, but Germans don’t really pronounce the r at the end position of a word)
Karkat Vantas: KARR kat - VANN tass /’kar·kat ‘van·tas/
Nepeta Leijon: NEH pet ah - LEI on /’nə·pə·ta ‘leɪ·ɔn/
(dunno why I’m being inconsistent here, actually I should pronounce it LAI jon /’lɑɪon/… Especially weird since that sounds almost exactly like lion. What is wrong with me? XD)
